A literary baccalauréat with a cinema specialism at Lycée Bossuet, two years at Paris 8, late-night shifts at Le Cardinal near Porte de Saint-Cloud to cover the rent. The turn towards geopolitics came in 2020, at Lyon 2: two years of history and power-dynamics analysis, sub-Saharan Africa, Sahel conflicts, the long logics of influence. EFAP followed for the tools: strategic communication, public affairs, crisis management.

Oslo came at the right time. A full semester in English, at Kristiania University, in a country whose position within NATO is far from the least interesting to observe. The northern flank, Arctic security, the Norwegian relationship with Russia — files worked closely, of which the thesis is the direct continuation.

Since 2024, a freelance consultancy in communication, influence and press relations. Speeches, position papers, press dossiers, stakeholder mapping for institutional and civil-society actors. Daily monitoring of over seventy sources — international press, IFRI, IRIS, Chatham House, Brookings, RUSI — feeding both practice and research.

What I am looking for: an environment where geopolitical analysis and communication are not two separate departments. Diplomacy, defence, international public affairs — positions where understanding a file is a precondition for speaking on it.

The thesis analyses Norway’s posture towards Russia between 2014 and 2025: how media framing forced Oslo to freeze, within seventy-two hours, all Russian assets held in its sovereign wealth fund — under a 93 % public consensus.

The analysis combines Entman’s media framing, spiral of silence, agenda-setting and elite selective responsiveness. The methodology is academic; the stakes are those of a chancellery, a cabinet, or an institutional communications team.

The PPL is a clear next objective, when means allow. Working under procedure, under weather constraints, deciding with incomplete information: that discipline interests me as much as aviation itself.
